Contingency – structure and its consequence in large scale development

Speaker: Pär Hammarström
Venue: Stockholm (June 3rd 2015)

When working at scale there is a need for an organizational structure, a framework, that helps the teams or subprojects keep their design and implementation reasonably synchronized during the development of a system.

During the years many different frameworks have been suggested, and recently, there has been a growing interest in how agile ways of working can be scaled.

Which framework to use for a particular organization is commonly attributed to parameters such as organizational maturity or culture, but could it also be depending on the architecture of the system under development?
